A Texas Celebration for Our Western Musical

We are thrilled to announce that Under the Western Skies, formerly known as A Ranch Musical, is riding into Texas for a very special screening on Sunday, September 6, 2026.
This time, we are bringing the film to Clifton, Texas, just outside the Dallas/Fort Worth area, for an afternoon of celebration, conversation, western music, and community. After sharing the film in Los Angeles and Arizona, it feels especially meaningful to bring the story into Kristyn Harris’s neck of the woods.
Kristyn is not only the star and musical heart of the film, but also one of the creative partners who helped shape the authenticity of the story. To celebrate this Texas screening, she will join us for another special live performance following the film.
Hosted by the Bosque Film Society
We are incredibly grateful to be hosted by the Bosque Film Society, a group that cares deeply about film, community, history, and the power of gathering around the big screen.
Their support means so much to us. Independent films depend on people and organizations who believe in making space for unique stories, especially stories rooted in place, heritage, music, and heart. The Bosque Film Society has been a wonderful advocate for cinema in Central Texas, and it is an honor to bring our western musical to their community.
We are thankful for their generous hosting and for giving Under the Western Skies the chance to be shared with a Texas audience in such a meaningful setting.
Screening at the Historic Cliftex Theater
The screening will take place at the Cliftex Theater, the longest continuously operating movie house in Texas, showing films on the silver screen since 1916.
There could not be a more special home for this event. The Cliftex carries more than a century of moviegoing history, and we are honored that our independent western musical will be part of that legacy, even for one afternoon.
For a film about tradition, legacy, family, and the courage to move forward without losing your roots, screening at a historic theater like the Cliftex feels like a perfect match.
